The photo shows G.H. "Ace" Watson, from Sarnia, Ontario in the center with two unknown persons in front of a Lancaster adorned with Little Lulu Nose Art. Little Lulu is a comic strip character, created by Marjorie-Henderson-Buell. Artists John Stanley and Irving Tripp were instrumental in creating the memorable comic, and the image below shows why Little Lulu would have been appealing to the crew.
